Oracle releases 11g database beta

So Oracle is releasing 11g's beta.

I haven't tried it yet, but for what I can see for now, and apart for the compression (and performance) technology, it all comes down to datawarehousing and applicational enhancements.

Was I expecting too much? Is the evolution of the database core functionalities loosing steam?
