Microsoft Virtual Lab Express: Team System Overview

We no longer have an excuse not to try new products. Remote access to virtual machines is the perfect way to try out new technology. Here's how Microsoft is showing their goodies:

By offering remote access to a virtual server machine, Microsoft Virtual Labs allows you to test the products without installing nothing in your system. Ok, you'll have to install virtual server remote console, but that's pretty much all you have to try out a fully configured system.

For a taste of it, please try the Microsoft Virtual Lab Express: What's new in Visual Studio Team System.

In this lab you will learn to:

  • Create an application
  • Create unit tests
  • Determine and enable code coverage testing
I hope other vendors will follow this path - I usually install demos in my local virtual machines, but still they need to be configured. This is the way to do it!
