This post reminds me of an old framework I've architected years ago. The navigation was done exclusive with Server.Transfer - the idea behind this was to easily push over the page call stack over and input variable, solving two navigation issues: the back button and saving/restoring page contexts. A problem I see with this Server.Transfer approach is that the page displayed on the browser is not the served page, what is quite confusing to say the least.
